It's weird that many were sitting that late in the week. I drive by the OC Wednesday and was surprised how many trailers were still there. I hate that OC with a passion! Love the people, hate the OC. Horrible dirt lot, absolutely lousy shop with high turnover like their new drivers. One driver parking like a jerk makes half the lot impassable. One stupid soda/snack machine that is/was always broke. BAH!!!!

I think that's why I stayed out so much lol

 

If I'm not mistaken... SNI has 2 boards, company board and a IC board.

 

Unless something has changed, The way it was explained to us when choice started in '07 is that there is only one load board. ALL dispatchers in Van Truckload snag loads for their drivers from the same board that choice uses. Around 1330-1400 you will notice loads start disappearing quickly. That's when the dispatchers start plucking loads for their drivers. This does not include dedicated, bulk, intermodal or teams although team dispatchers will use solo freight to get their people to the team freight if need be.

I was told the freight is off 1 board for solo and 1 board for teams.

That's why they say book ahead a couple days so we stay ahead of the company load planners.

But I've been wrong Atleast once before.

 

You ain't seen nothing yet. Soon we'll be able to track relays, pull up a trailers GPS coordinates on Google maps (or Bing maps if you prefer ); see all the reference numbers and remarks for a customer and

RATE THIS CUSTOMER - yes you will be able to tell C&S exactly what you think I'm of their creepy facilities.

 

In theory everything works now, it's just tweaking and getting final upper upper management approval before going into production.

 

I'd be happy if they'd make it so WE can change our own NAL.
