Test out

I passed my pretrip with no trouble, brake test went very well. I started with static test then applied, low air warning and pop out checks, tug test and rolling service brake test. The course is a lot tougher than the one I have been training on. it is only 70ft from the rear of trailer to front of box for the offset. You bout have to jack knife to get it in there but alliance has set up their course to reflect tn so I can be ready on Wednesday.

 

Ok passed skills test today. Decided on swift flatbed. Heading to Atlanta next Monday. I know swift not the best but with my background and no real exp. They are the lesser of the two evils and its a job until I get experience. Will let y'all know how it goes.

 

well found out about my loan agreement today. I owed $4495 to alliance and had to get a high risk loan from atlas, now loan looks more like $6500 at 19% apr. Swift agrees to pay $150 a month for 36 months (that's about $5000) so I have to cover the rest. Payments are $238 a month. So that's about $100 a month out of my pocket for 36 months. I figure on paying $200 a month + the 150 swift is going to add and get it paid off in about 2 years. By the time loan is paid I will have enough experience to upgrade to another company if I choose. I also went and got my cdl at dmv yesterday and added the tanker and doubles&triples. Once I get some income Im going to try and get my hazmat. when (or if) I get hazmat and I already got tanker, will that be an X endorsement? or is that X endorsement something different?

 

so if I have the T (tanker) and the H (hazmat) on there it the same as the X endorsement?
