I don't even bother with CHR at all! Tql,echo, jb hunt,and my new favorite coyote are giving me the best rates90-110% of what I see on truckers edge also xpo had a great rate but it was a disaster! I have run 10 days straight on coyote loads only once was there rate on a load unacceptable we were within 100 of agreement but just couldn't quite close on that one,have a new op mgr I call him tiger butt,he is doing a great job negotiating rates,and calls brokers super fast and gets rate cons immediate as well as dispatching me quickly! That's why I all him tigerbutt,coz he's a tiger and works his butt off....

 

CHR did me ok they usually load me heavy with short delivery times. I use them when I go in and out of SoFlo they usually have something coming in from Texas dog foodor sugar coming out of SoFlo into Carolina. Usually pays 3500 from Texas and 2200 into Carolina's. They try to cut the rate of you if they know your DOT is newer I had mine for a few years now so they don't usually try any games.

 

A lot of companies deal with CHR, and have no problems with them, I didn't. If I couldn't make the drop time, I would tell the broker, and almost everytime they would reset either the pick time or the drop time. I have pulled a lot of produce loads out of Cali for them with another company, never had an issue.

Again, a lot of drivers at Eagle are doing ok, but most of those drivers are trusting totally in the DM and not booking their own loads, and some that are booking their own loads and doing well, are not on this thread and sharing their secrets to success.

 

Yeah CHR was the broker I used to learn about booking loads, and then when I almost had it down, I had to leave, but I am glad that you are doing well with your new DM, and with Coyote, I did like them better than CHR.

 

Keith Siad is the guy to make happy at coyote. If you can get on his good side he will bend over backwards to give you the good stuff.

Maybe I should let eagle use my dot number it's 15 years old so one day I may go back on run under and better rate by the way a lot of people is buying old dot number just for that good rates
