OK. So It will keep main engine warm on cold nights. Good.
I'm guessing the switch in the box would be turned on all the time. This will keep the batteries charged and the coolant warm. The switch in the bunk is for climate control only?
I'm thinking one would then turn the main switch in the box "off" when on home time (normally) and "on" when on the road.
When the truck ignition is turned on the system will stay off?

In the box is always on.
in the bunk you push knob on the left until unit says stby standby.
To turn on climate control you turn knobs
when you turn key it turns off unit. Unit is then in standby mode. It will charge batteries as needed.it also keeps coolant at 120 degrees or so.
To turn unit off completely either push left knob in til system cuts off.Hegemeister Thanks this. -
Yup..your set up is different than mine.
I have the switch on the dash..turns tripak on/off.
Then climate control in sleeper.
Arctic package is nice..no hard starts when it's a might chilly.Hegemeister Thanks this. -
Thanks to you both. I now have the Park Smart. Not very happy with it. Cooling and heating duct points at my head in the bunk also, toward the rear instead of forward. Front of cab stays hot.
In the winter, the bottom bunk is cold and the top bunk is hot.
My heater went out and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a dealer that is willing or able to fix it.
It siphons power from the truck batteries, and my TV and cooler shut down pretty quick. Well, about 11 more weeks to go. counting the days. -
Okay, apparently my tri-pac is different from yours. I have a tier 2 and that's how the artic package is.Dogals right foot Thanks this.
