    It's KPRA law, not bridge law. That's an entirely different law. FL has had a KPRA law for a long time. They also allow up to 44,000 on a tandem w/o permit. For those with trailers that don't have sliding axles, they have a $30 annual permit for over length KPRA.

    I've always been confused when these discussions come up. King Pin to Rear Axle seems the same as bridge law in a sense.

    Bridge law is all about how much weight in a given distance. KPRA laws are simply the distance from the kingpin to rear axle or rear axle group. KPRA laws have nothing to do with weight
