At a small truck stop along some highway in AR about 45 miles from my delivery.
A 0600 live unload.
My first pplan was turned down because the pick up was today, and I don't deliver until tomorrow morning.
I really wish I knew what the planners were thinking.
My next pplan was much better, except for the pick up time.
A nice 1225 mile run to PA, but it doesn't pick up until 1500 tomorrow when I'm finished with my current load at 0800. I'll have just enough time after the live load to find a place to park for the night.
It's going to the Petsmart in Bethel, PA, but I have no idea which Bethel in PA. There are 5 listed in my RM, and none of those has the street name that I am going to.
Good Night From II

At a service plaza on the Oklahoma Turnpike a little north of Muskogee.
Finished up an easy 2-Stop to neighboring chicken farms in BFE, KS yesterday. A bazzillion flies and a stench not of this world. Won't be eating chicken for a while!!
Left there to set my 10 last night at Sapp Bros on I-70 near Fort Riley KS. Had a live load at the Army Base this morning and delivered this afternoon in Tulsa OK at a Waste Management incinerator facility aka a garbage dump. The stench there was indescribable and I was #### glad to leave!!
Have a live load in the morning in Muskogee going to Lake Park GA on I-75 near the FL border for a Thursday delivery. Finally a D&H so I can get rid of this trailer I've been pulling since Laredo last week. -
Isn't that the way it always is ... get a crummy trailer and you have it for 2 weeks. Find a nice sweet trailer and you get to take it 50 miles up the road to a preload on another crappy trailer.HousTank and pumpkinhead Thank this.

I finished my live unload at 0700 this morning and then headed to my next shipper for a live load scheduled for 1500.
I got there at 0830, a bit early.
The lady was nice and said I could wait on the lot, and that she would let me know when they could load me.
I got loaded at about 1130. It's a nice light load of plastic stuff that is under 9k.
Now headed for Bethel, PA - with a slight detour to the Memphis terminal.
My DM needs help with something so I'll call him when I get there. -
Ontario ca just picked up a load heading back east to Jacksonville fla a nice easy drive and able to stop by san antonio for a couple days since this isn't due til Monday morning. And backed up with a load to flower mound texas hopefully lancaster won't jerk me around but we will see.

Absolutely!! Couldn't have said it any better

At a Loves in Tupelo MS. Nine hour drive to get to my drop tomorrow in Lake Park GA. Wanted to get further today but the shipper in Muskogee, this morning, was kind enough to take 6.5 hours to load me and waste a significant amount of my drive time today. Six of my last seven live loads/unloads have ended with detention and I'm about irritated. An epidemic of mismanagement at these places.
After dropping this load I head north up I-75 about 60 miles to some town called Omega for yet ANOTHER live load going up to Fancy Gap VA with ANOTHER live unload there. I'm sitting on docks darn near every day and it's getting old.
The upside is this load is supposed to be 4,000lbs so running up I-85 to Charlotte and then I-77 into VA should be a breeze. I hope they didn't forget a zero on the weight. -
Finally getting out of here. Truck is back and last night my ECT hooked me up to a nice load from here to the Atlanta area for Monday morning. He pplaned me on it last night and left me a voice mail and see if PHX leaves it on me and would you believe, they actually did and even already dispatched me on it with a trailer to pick up in the yard, What a way to start the week, 1800 miles by Monday and now just hope for at least 800 more to finish the week

Napolean, OH at the Pilot. Here to pick up a load of dunnage from Campbells headed to Union, MO. Has a pickup window from 2030 tonight to 0800 tomorrow morning so I'm gonna pick it up early in the morning.
This is the first load I've gotten by calling a planner. Since there was NOTHING on Mac 30 I decided to see what happened. He offered me 3 different loads (kind of a verbal Mac 30) and I grabbed the one headed west.
