Attention Newbies: Worst States for Speeding Tickets

I had one in southern Illinois on I-57 the infamous last 30, 69 in a 55 zone, and one in Arkansas same speed on back road!

Those are maybe 15 years ago and i still have the receipt to show in case someone says i haven't pay!

 

Why do some folks get hung up on this 'enemy state' thing in regards to posts like this OP?
Has anyone ever considered actually doing the speed limit?
I know that is a new concept for many but it looks great on your CSA score, saves you you money in fines,court,time and if you do not get tickets, you might actually get that company safety bonus or award. Since I was 16 and started driving there have been few times I have ever sped and NEVER in a big truck. Just saying.....

 

That's still better N the old days....the Commonwealth had reciprocity with Nobody....in a big truck you paid at time of ticket or spent some time as a guest of the county....ask me how I know....lmao

 

we were postin at same time....lol...not prime&still drive a large triple digit truck.....run everywhere cept Cali nowadays....but Mostly East of I25....dont like being gone more n 6/7 days these days&before you ask....Still run pretty hard....174k....last year w/5 wkz off....oh and I do ltl.....avg 12 drops a week...then reload back to house.....usually

 

I have gotten bonuses for actually DOING the speed limit as well as other safety factors. There is not one excuse for someone to be speeding, outside of a life and death matter. Common sense.. an 80,000 vehicle speeding is not a good idea tickets aside. Then again common sense...is not so common anymore.

 

Believe illinois was 55-65$and arkansas was 75-80$

The receipt is in a drawer at home in case.
