    A couple of DMV workers were bribed to fraudulently pass CDL applicants and were caught, fired, and arrested.... do not pass go, do not collect your CALSTRS pension, do not even collect $200.... I'd be interested in the outcome of this.

    A lot can happen in court, but this type of crime gets the full court press by the state and the prosecution - prison time and depending on how the crime was committed, it could go federal. Lucky for the taxpayer (not so much the doers) Cali has a law on the books if one is convicted of a felony and is a member of a state or local pension plan, that entity moves to separate them from the plan (kicked to the curb with check for only what they contributed).
