I was just going through some old Post's about kriska and there is a guy that goes by the name " end of the road" why not send a PM to him asking If he's still there and what it's like.

One of the guys that has thousands of posts  you mean RALPH found time from posting useless story / CRAIGS LIST job ad links to actually post something positive , heard he was CRYING about a company who installed vending machines in the drivers lounge.

Years back that was a good site lots of activity , lots of good info , then it went downhill

He's actually a helpful guy to many newbies in the industry. And the forums still pretty decent.

I work for Kriska. It's ok. Is my first gig in the truck so it's hard to compare. Live load/unload is a major part of the business, so you need to figure out how to delay your start times to maximize driving and lessen wait times. It really makes a huge difference and it hasn't been a real obvious thing for me to find out, figure out, or implement.
    Trainers can be poor.
Dispatch is said to be 'not forced', but that is really case by case. I've had dispatchers say' what do you want to do', give me a choice of two loads, or. ..say "well, that's what you're getting. I don't think there's REALLY sick a thing as non-forced dispatch. They have a job to do.

As a former Schneider driver who keeps in touch with current Schneider drivers, I can tell you it's that old game of we will tell you what ever you need to hear, to get your butt in the seat. They say you will make 65,000 a year, after 3 months you will figure it out maybe 40,000. But honestly it is standard industry practice, lie lie lie.. good luck.

I went to Schneiders Canada right after getting my Class one..., Its great for green hands their training is the best, they pay while they train you in house like across border work, backing skills, citys work but their payments is very low! Kriska pays 5 cents extra, but they dont train you as new driver... I guess at the beginning its not about the dollat sign but your safety and others comes first.... They also provides you a hotel and lunch while training, some guys I met there where in training for two months and they were getting paid and in hotel still... Once things seemed like a piece of cake, I went to adifferent company 3 kilometer away home every weekend and pays me 1.5 more.. I recommend Schneider for new drivers they support you and teaches you its not only PTI stuff but way more
    Good luck

Kriska does all that but only up to 4 weeks training. The trainers are kind of iffy though.
