At a rest area on I-77N just across the NC/VA state line. Final is in the morning 12 miles back in a hollow somewhere.

Had to do some digging to figure out where the shipper was located at in Omega GA this morning. No mac23, no phone number, invalid address on the QC, invalid address on my TND720 and nothing but trees in that spot on Google Earth. Everything I could find on Google said the shipper was a one truck company. Then I found a common address for the truck company and a farm but it wasn't what Swift gave me.

Back to Google Earth and followed the roads around the area and located the farm. I went there and sure enough the farm was the right place.

Backed into their open air dock and watched as they loaded pairs of stacked pallets. They fully cubed the trailer to the doors. I got lied to again!! The 4K lb load was actually a 42K lb load, 60 pallets of heavy plastic trays for farming. I should've known it was too good to be true. The ride to VA through the mountains wasn't quite as fun as it could've been.

To add insult to injury, a few minutes after doing my Lcall I get a ppln to take my empty, after unloading, and go drop it 3 hrs away in Dandridge TN at Bush Bros..then bobtail out!!! WTF!!! Give up my nice new trailer and just drive off empty handed. Swift just keeps pissin' me off more and more each passing day. Plus I'm overdue for a B-Serv and asking to get through a terminal is getting nowhere. I already see what's coming.

Demming, NM. What a day. Got my trailer today that I was assigned and headed over to the shipper. Refused. It was not a new one and no etracs like the load assignment called for so back to the yard from Chandler and get another one and back. That caused a 2 hour delay and then 5 hours to get loaded. Then had to give up a nice 7k command load going 1326 miles and paying the truck $1750 for a delivery on Wednesday. Could not make pickup on time Monday. Thank you planners for messing that one up. And now looking at a PTA of Tuesday since will deliver late and so far the only thing coming out is a load to Paducah, KY, 438 miles for Wednesday. All of the long 700-800 mile loads have delivery of Thursday.

Ive been at Sumner for 3 days now. Empty trailer move today and yesterday. What am I doing wrong here? DM is also threatening to take "disciplinary measure" because of our "teams" high idle. Also I've never been bugged about safety observations before she became my DM. I feel like I'm going to snap!

D out of Troutdale is an infamous woman. I was out of Troutdale for awhile, people would ask me "Do you have D as as a dm"? . Thankfully I did not, never heard a good thing said about her.

Somewhere between Weatherford, TX and Santo, TX. 662 miles today in just a couple of minute over 10.25. I DO NOT like pushing like this because of somebody else's screw up and delay. Doing my best to get it there by 0800 on Monday, but as many know, coming into Atlanta from the west on I-20 can be a pita. Does not take much to screw up everything. Why CSR and planners insist on making early morning appointment around large cities during rush hour will never cease to amaze me, or evening appointments. At least sent a MAC 22 when loaded saying 1000 on Monday just in case. And the shipper, just get it there when you safely can.

I've refused trailers several time from the Phoenix yard. Once because the assigned trailer was junk and I flat refused to deal with it, another time because the order called for a "food grade" trailer and what they assigned clearly was not. Swift pays me to move loaded trailers, NOT to babysit or fix their junk.

Pacific, MO at the Pilot. Delivered a load of dunnage (from Campbells) in Union, MO and of course they didn't have an MT. Next load doesn't pick up til 1700 tomorrow at P&G in Neely's so they have plenty of time to find me an MT.

Picked up in Portland Oregon, delivered to Red Bluff, CA load was late due to planner giving me the load at exactly the time it was supposed to be picked up. Took hour to get to shipper. Got to final was a drop and hook. Only 4 swift trailers at this Walmart DC and they all full of empty pallets. Bobtail to Walmart where I have been sitting for the past 6 hours. No loads on mac30 and planner phone goes to VM. Looks like another 2000 miles week. Getting pretty upset....
