Not talking stumbling drunk. If you have to get this way when you drink you have a problem and need to quit.

Bad Drunks giving good drinkers a bad name.

Talking about a beer or 3 and than setting in for your 10.

"So that means for every hour you are not drinking, .015 of the alcohol in your body is being metabolized and disappearing from your body (thanks to David J. Hanson, Ph.D. for this information). So, if your BAC was 0.08 (legally impaired), it would take about 5.33 hours for the alcohol to be eliminated from your body."

It TYPICALLY takes about 4 beers to reach a BAC of .08, but varies depending on size, age, metabolism etc. And it typically takes 5 hours for your body to metabolize that much alcohol.

All I know is that you dont want any alcohol on your breath when that super trucker backs into you at the truck stop at 2 in the morning...

I have heard that it takes one hour for a shot, beer, or glass of wine to leave your system. Also, .o4 is considered dui for a cdl holder.

I don't drink but I don't see a problem with having a few while on your brake.Just make sure it's out of your system once you start driving and don't even take a sip while onduty.Cops have a nose like a bloodhound and no breath spray will work.Would'nt be too peachy you enter a scalehouse and cops pull you around back. They can since fear and nervousness too.

I usually keep a 30 in the truck. I just keep them in the bottom of the cooler with sodas and stuff on top.

I don't drink them fast or get drunk but I usually knock back ten or so per shift. As long as there isn't a lot of traffic I just toss the empties out the window so there is no evidence. Works for me.

Seriously though I personally won't drink within 8 hours of when I have to drive. I figure that is enough time for the alcohol to clear out as I am not getting plastered just having a few with dinner. I am not OTR just local and usual I am done drinking by ten and feel I am at 0.0 when I go to driving 8am.

Maybe public intox? But cops aren't typically waiting for you in the truck stops, unless you're taking his wife back to your truck

Back in 1979, I was 22 going onto 23. I made the HORRIBLE MISTAKE of "associating" with another man's wife. I received a "body shellacking" that I will never forget. I ended up going to the hospital to get treated for the injuries sustained due to my "body shellacking".
What really made it so bad was this:
It was NOT the husband that gave me the "body shellacking". It was one of the jealous lovers that the man's wife was also having an affair with.

It does NOT matter who you are. Stay away from other men's wives!
It will reduce your chances of "passing away" before your time.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

    dca and Arkansas Thank this.
