Swift L/O here. Upping the HP will void your lease contract. My suggestion is, if you have a 9 speed, pay for the upgrade box to change it to a 13.

I'm not in my truck right now, but I can look at the lease tomorrow and point you to the specific section if you want.

He said he put the 13 in it already. Ah did you reset the Cal files in the Ecm. A cummins has 7808 cal files that have to calibrated to the specs of truck. otherwise your gonna chase problems forever.

Alot of people wanna change Hp tourque etc. Alot of shops will do it for a price. But all the cal files need to be on same page otherswize eng will derate if files dont match. Ecm will take program no problem. but the wheels will never see it.

Basically if you want 600 hp . Then buy a 600 hp motor. Thats they way cummins sets them up. Otherwise everybody will biy low hp motors turn up later cummins lozez money. Not gonna happen. Why they put programs in them.
