Just got my truck today and my first truck payment and maintenance payment will not be till August 21st. I will have the insurance come out starting with the first settlement. I hope this helps.

Look unless customer freight most spot freight is 2 and under unless short and guess what? They give u 250 300 mile run at 3 a mile and that's rare too....but u hang on to it all day and guess what else folks? Now to get out and get more 3 freight u have to take 1.20-1.50 and that ties another day....that broker doesn't know how reliable u are he isn't going to trust u to run it straight thru and maybe the receiver can't take u until tommorrow...ts not drop and hook...it loading at both ends....it's not so easy....

Touche'. That drop and hook is a great thing working for Swift. The sitting and waiting to loaded and unloaded is an aspect I have only experienced for 1 1/2 months while working for Schilli Transportation but I also had to deal with broker loads there so I'm hoping I can make it. Good or bad I will give this one full year.

Tell me what your seeing rate wise on your board....I bet becoz of schneiders customer freight and negotiating power with brokers to buy a large volume of them for an area it's not nearly as bad as the rates eagle gets....
