    Nice compact radio there I was looking at the foundation licence some of the test questions as it permits you to run 10 watts but I'm sure if you are mobile you cloud have a little more fire in the wire

    Mad Dog as a General you can not talk on all of any HF band. But as an Extra I can. A Technician gets about 10% of the airwaves, a General about 90%, Advanced about 95%, a Extra 100% of all bands. Look at chart.

    Of course i was not licensed in 1913 ... but when I was I had privileges on all bands ... not all frequencies but bands ...

    No ham rigs have receiver sensitivity as nice as my magnum s9 @-125db so buying an Icom 7000 would be a downgrade on my part.
