Hi all,I have a 2007 Volvo 780 with a d12.i took the truck to the mechanic just to have it checked over one day and he said I needed a hanger bearing and a motor mount bracket.now prior to that being fixed I haven't had a vibrating problem,now truck vibrates at high speed and sometimes I hear like a grinding noise,any one have an idea on this

CK. if the ride hight was changed or is not working at arm that leads to hight valve on rear end?

If it didn't do it prior to the work being done, I'd check and see that:
A) The motor mount bracket and motor mounts are tight.
B) That the mechanic installed the hanger bearing correctly and that your driveline angles are set to spec.
My money is on the hanger bearing not being positioned correctly, giving a vibration due to incorrect driveshaft angles. -
Is there a speedway that you can check the angle because that's what I was thinking sometimes they got spacers maybe he didn't put in or maybe he didn't line up the drive line

Many of us were trying to beat Volvo mystery vibration. Haven't seen one lucky.
