Failed my CDL written yesterday...

    A setback. You haven't failed yet. Round 2. Joseph brought up some good points. Forget about the woman with bad English. Can't blame the newborn ( congrats btw). Either you know the stuff or you don't. Everything else is a bad excuse. Most of us have ridden in a schoolbus long enough to pass a general knowledge test. Many of the questions on the general knowledge part apply to a schoolbus. Think "schoolbus" on the general knowledge test, not truck. Time to rumble.

    Thanks for the encouragement and advice guys. Taking the other practice tests and will be studying up as well.
    Gonna go in loaded for bear and get this knocked out.

    Figured I'd post an update just in case somebody was reading this and needed some encouragement. Got my DOT card last week and took the General Knowledge test and Combo test today, passed with no problem second time around. I think the nerves just got the best of me and the Crist CDL test link posted here definitely had me prepared much better too. Like JoeTruck said, I made sure I was making 100% on the practice tests then I was ready.

    So onward and upward, going to do my TSA stuff so I can do my Hazmat and might as well get my double/triple endorsements while I'm at it. Now it's just a matter of figuring out where I want to take my CDL school and when I want to quit my current job. Wish me luck!

    @59EX Congratulations, and I particularly want to thank you for the update. We get so many folks who leave us hanging on what eventually happened. . .Can be kind of frustrating.
