I have 2006 Volvo and I when I press the gas pedal there is no acceleration. I already checked and replaced the relay sensors but that wasn't the problem. I also checked and replaced the pedal sensor but the truck still wont accelerate. The engine turns on, my truck is on, it just wont accelerate forward. It says to check the light modular. What could I do? What is wrong?

-
Thank you, I'll look into it.

I'm sorry I didn't understand you.

Just so you're aware...
Gas is for cars. In term and what you buy.
Fuel is for anything that requires a substance to make it move. In term and what you buy.
Diesel is what we run.
Certain folks like to split hairs. You'd be wise to use "fuel," "accelerator" or "diesel," unless you're actually referring to gasoline. -
Thank you for clearing this up for me. This really is my father's truck and I'm writing this for him because he is not very tech savvy. I wasn't aware there was a different term for the pedal, although I was aware that this truck runs on diesel fuel. Again, thank you for making me aware.

It's fine. Most of us know what you mean. Just that some like to split hairs.
My trainer made me aware of that. Said I shouldn't ever use the word "gas" in any conversation referring to Diesel engines.
Just wished I could help with your actual question... -
you have a datalink problem nothing to do with injector should have more codes on dash other than just light control module. first place i would look is old qualcomm hook up in the back of cab or by feet of pass side next would be bad connection on speed sensor wires get loose inside connection and like to cause all sorts of weird problems with accelerator pedal. look at these and let me know if you need something else
Vilhiem Thanks this. -
gas pedal ? )))) you must be Russian or somebody from former Soviet union.
There is a thin wire going from battery's + terminal to the engine side. that wire's connector could be corroded right there on battery. Very common situation with Volvo's (with Cummins engine).
