Does anyone get work from Statewide Transport in AZ, FL or TX? They are a broker division of Vulcan Materials and have started recruiting O/O with Super 16/18's here in AZ. The recruiter told me they have been in TX for 10 years and in FL a few years as well. Just looking to see if the rates are decent and if they dole out the work like the recruiter says they do, meaning Statewide trucks first and everyone else later.
Any other info is greatly appreciated as well
Thank you

Just wanted to bump this and see if I can get some fresh eyes on it because I am really thinking of getting back into the O/O game and going with these guys but I want some more info.
thanks again -
Buddy is talking to them here in tx, looking like grossing 4500 week I think with a 15% lease.
-
id like to know more on this company also. saw there ad at a vulcan plant

just talked to the arizona rep and the contract stated 12% fee $60 weekly and that covers your non truck insurance and dot inspection drug consortium and paid weekly. they have a tire program were you get discounted tires. But they do have charge backs if your truck brakes while loaded or you dont deliver load for some reason it comes off your pay @ $250 weekly or he said they would work on the weekly payment with you. 150 bucks deposit for spill kit refundable. They provide all ppe and log books all the material stuff....And they dispatch you per day.. You will be first up over all other trucking firms in the valley as you would basically working for vulcan itself.. 2 yr lease but there's no fee to terminate early just have to give a 15 day written notice. They also pay you 100 bucks a month to stick a Statewide Transport banner on your truck...ive been trying to talk to one of the trucks here in the valley that are leased on with them to see how they really are but i havent had the chance to...
If someone here actually works with them please chime in -
Is this a lease purchase or a straight lease with a turn-in after the lease expires? I'm interested, but kinda confused as to what exactly you guys are talking about.
Oh well, off to the website I go... -
What's the website for statewide or vulcan here in Az?

I've been driving for a small fleet owner that has his trucks leased on to ST here in north Tx. I can confirm that the lease is @ 15% weekly, plus insurance. Which is about the average everywhere else. We also have the option of fueling at the Vulcan plant with company provided electronic keys. When available, they have trailer for lease as well. All deductions are taken out from check weekly. Statements every Thursday and payday is every Friday. M-F work with ocassional half-Saturday during the busy season.

I have 2 trucks leased on to ST in FL. We average 500-560 miles a day at a gross of about $600 less 12% comission less fuel, comes out to 300-350 a day, maybe, if hauling 88k lbs.
Probably going back to otr flatbeds which doesnt look promising...
