I would have to imagine there is a "caveat" to the CSA thing the OP is speaking of.
I am willing to bet that the policy of 'no tolerance' has to do with the DRIVERS responsibilities as far as a D.O.T. Inspection goes (i.e.- logs, medical card, etc...).
Hard for me to believe that they would can you if a marker light happened to burn out during your work day, and you go dinged for it.
If their policy includes the equipment, they BETTER be willing to fix any issues immediately once they are discovered and reported to the company by the driver (a lot of companies tell you to finish out the week and/or run, and they will fix it at the terminal).
A daily pre-trip can save your butt...DO THEM! Most peoples idea of a Pre-Trip is climbing out of their sleeper into their drivers seat, and calling for a radio check on channel 19.

Are Hobby Lobby drivers required to drive in Sunday?
Since the stores are closed, as not to offend GodCottonmouth85 and skinnytrucker Thank this. -
You don't really think they believe that bs so much as to give up money, do youskinnytrucker, Pintlehook and pete1 Thank this.

They close the stores on Sunday, to appease their God, so the drivers shouldn't work either.
It will be my quest to look for Hobby Lobby trucks moving on Sunday.Cottonmouth85 and GabeScott Thank this. -
Oh, I've seen them drive on Sundays. They only want to appeal to the church crowd when it comes to closing on Sundays.tucker Thanks this.

Even when the country had blue laws, certain stores were open and certain occupations still worked 7 days a week. Jesus even pointed out that the priests worked on the Sabbath. Still, it's nice to have a business that chooses to put family before profit. They don't require church attendance, but if you have ever worked in retail, or fast food you would know that most managers will work people 13 days without a day off. If I still worked in either of those industries I would find the idea of a set day off every week rather appealing. Get rid of your hatred for those who believe different than you and look at it from a practical viewpoint. A short Google search and this company would be a good place to start a work career.
The problem in trucking is that as much as you might want to shut down on Sunday every week, it's pretty much impossible. What I see is that this thread had morphed from a driver not wanting to follow the rules to a thread better suited to the religion forum. BTW I am an owner operator who chooses his own loads and while I get home on the weekends, it doesn't mean I can go to church every Sunday.xlsdraw, Crusader66, oldtrucker66 and 4 others Thank this. -
