That staff of young but well intentioned but inexperienced especially as far as trucking goes relies far to heavily on those easy to work with brokers that feed a constant easy and steady flow of low paying loads! And it's us sir the guys and gals that are paying your salaries! And we can't survive being fed low rates so operators leave...like I said what's the retention rate? U tell management to stop catering to those bs low paying brokers coz it's easier for u and start training those kids to the benefit of us all! Office workers and operators

Wow...that truly shows your ignorance of the trucking world.....1k is company driver pay for experienced drivers not for owner ops lease ops on percentage I heard this attitude from my own ops mgr #####ing about his little check compared to SOME drivers...well big boy u get in this truck under this companies operating model and show us how it's done...I'm probably 20 years older than u and have a Ton more trucking experience than u do...just shows the resentment u have for those of us with experience that do actually expect better than 1k for the risks we take financially and otherwise,and the conditions a driver lives with day in and day out.....only thing I can say is how dare u!

But again, I don't know with whom you've worked and what your runs/schedule/paychecks have been like, so I can't comment on your experience specifically.
If your OM is only working with cheap loads/brokers, then yeah, you'll have a bad time, but that's to be expected. Plenty of drivers are profitable and successful, so it's harder to draw uniform conclusions. -
like I said, expectations vary widely. How much do you expect to make in take home each year?

Are u kidding me @ eagleops? Are u saying we are only pulling 20% brokered freight? More like 90 very small list and getting smaller of customer freight

What is chapping my ##* is you guys at Eagle cut me deep keeping 25% of my Detention, FSC, Tolls, ect..... If any are even in the Rate Confirmations. I sat for 9 hrs last week at just 2 docks. want to be I will see no money for that Eagle Ops

I can't give you an answer without knowing the load, you in and out times, and the circumstances.

Hate to tell you EagleOps, but I can do 1K a week as a Company Driver anywhere and only drive 9 hrs a day. So yea my expectations are a whole lot higher moving in to L/O statusfr8monkey Thanks this.
