It amazes me how many still do this. Especially the ones who can't keep it straight (rumble strips), nothing like calling attention to yourself.

What happens if a driver is caught using a hand-held phone or texting while driving?
The rule imposes sanctions for driver offenses, including civil penalties up to $2,750 and driver disqualification for multiple offenses. Motor carriers are also prohibited from requiring or allowing their drivers to text or use a hand-held mobile phone while driving and may be subject to civil penalties up to $11,000.

Find it amusing how many people were suddenly outraged over me using my phone while driving only because the government told them to be. Sheep. Kinda like the Confederate flag thing. Faux indignation. Now you're considered a "free-range parent", all kinds of negative connotations, if you let your kids enjoy the same freedom you once enjoyed as a child. We need less government intrusion in our lives and it makes me sick when you guys applaud repressive constraints of my freedom. Reagan once said "freedom is but one generation away from extinction". You really want that for your kids, grandkids?

I think reckless driving is one of the big 3, the others are unsafe lane change, 15 mph over the speed limit....serious biggies
