Yeah, he's a good guy. Mine is Rebecca Cox who works out of Mt Airy just a few doors down from the Flying J next to the marathon fuel station and Subway. Cargo has a small office there too. Very nice lady.

 

George, glad it's working well for you there. Good home time is very important. Just as much as pay in my opinion.

Left the house yesterday picked up my load at QVC then the check engine light and the generic engine light both came on. The load was going to Toledo OH. Nope, put it back down and got routed to the yard with a Cummins engine load. The lights and the EEC code went off. Think I will call my truck Christine. Under another yard load headed back to Southington CT and Plaistow NH. Hoping for a backhaul from Vermont. Knock another state from the bucket list. North Dakota and Montana would remain. Deuces.

 

Was hoping to drop my load (backhaul from Mass) at the Epes yard in Winston Salem tonight, but got held up at the Delaware Memorial Bridge for over 4 hours. Decided not to take the mountain route with 40 k in my wagon. Followed the GPS and went down I 87 into NYC across the GWB which wasn't bad at all. Here at the TA in Elkton MD for the night. Not busting my arse over this one. Load not due in Greensboro until Monday anyway. Deuces.

 

i was headed to Syracuse and stopped in HarrisburgPA for a 30. Heard on the CB that 81 was backed up for 3 hours due to construction just north of me. I turned my 30 into a 10, and sailed thru the construction zone at 3 am, no backup.

 

Yep was through there last week mm95-105 is a mess. I was hoping to make it to the Petro in Scranton, but settled for the Pilot at the 100 mm. Not a bad place but just 3 showers.

 

Drop my load from Mass at the Epes yard in Winston Salem. Today got a load from the yard to Charlotte and then a pickup going to Chicagoland area.

 

I'm glad that old witch is gone! That lady definitely made my life a living hell when I was there!
