Hello there I hear it is a good idea to get your own GPS then to rely on qualcomm. I want to know if anyone has the Rand McNally TND Tablet and if so how good is it?
is Rand McNally TND Tablet good?

I have the RM 720 LM considering RM makes maps and it works great. The tablet is a waste of money. Just stick with the 520LM or 720 and get a good cheap dash came. Also use the search function on the site for more info on it.
crazybread Thanks this. -
What do u think would be better to get the 520, 720 or 730?
-
or mine might be a 730LM , either way I am staying with it seeing how much the tablet cost and just isn't worth that much.
-
the 520 and 720 are the same just a 5" screen vs the 7" screen. Ill have to look at mine when I get back to my truck to see if mine is a 720 or 730 but either way can' t be much different.

I hear it is good to have the 7 screen because most drivers like that the GPS tells the speed your going so that would help out
-
I love it for my speed, junction views, curve and grade warning as well as the next road you are coming up on.
-
ya sounds great how long were you trucking for until you bought your own GPS?
-
my 520 is good i never look at the map part anyway
just distance to next exit etc
i google map all my destinations beforehand
i wont buy a combination unit because if it breaks
you then have no tablet or gpsncmickey, Balakov100 and crazybread Thank this.
