"Im a former Maverick driver, In my opinion, the brother company of TMC"

Anyways, I was down in Loredo last year getting loaded and there was a TMC driver there as well, so i confirm the hot places we go to, it was 110 degrees that day. Hope guys running the southwest have a/c:biggrin_25523:

I load at our yard in Laredo frequently. On those summer days when I don't have the hours to head out I like to treat myself to a night of Idle Air at the Pilot. I crank the AC down to 65 and sleep like a babe.

I will never drive for any other OTR company besides TMC. I make over 60k a year every year, and am home whenever i need/want to be. =)

Yes, i'm still with TMC. The only way i will ever leave here is if i can get a local job making what i make now.. It's going to be hard.

I just recently got a new 388 model peterbilt. Boy, is it sharp! >:)

Glad to hear you like TMC...I've read some negative stuff about them (comments like they expect you to fudge your log books and they run you ragged). I want to get as much info as I can before I make any decisions about what company to go with.

I think a lot of things depend on your fleet manager/dispatch crew. I haven't been expected to screw with the logbooks, or otherwise been told by the company to do shady stuff. But then again, I have a rather laid-back FM. No bad experiences here, yet.

As far as Rochester goes, I don't know about dedicated lanes in the area. When I signed on the recruiter told me they weren't hiring from north of I-90 (I live off 81 in Binghamton). But that may have changed, or the recruiter may have made that up (surprise surprise).

This is not true! I do not know what your work ethic is, yes, TMC will require you to maxamize your 11/14 hours. Is there a breakdown in the system from time to time, of course, especially at shippers and consignees. You will be tempted to cheat from time to time, your FM might be tempted to pressure your or cover for you. It is against company policy, don't get caught doing it. You won't be fired, you will be shut down. Keeping an accurate, legal log is a high priority at all levels.
