You missed my point... After paying $600 a week for 5 years the truck should be paid for or darn close. Doing so for 7 years it better be paid for. You can drop a $14ish down payment at lone mountain and pay off a top of the line spec Coronado, 780, or 379 in 5 years for about 600 a week

So eagleops so is eagle really setup for teams? You advertise you are but yet all the freight brokers don't have team freight but on the occasion of a 24 hour receiver. We will get a good paying load but it has a appointment time delivery and we always end up being way early but if we turn down those loads we are stuck having eagle search and us calling every broker we can and emailing every broker even letting the brokers know as a team we are out there. So is it me or would a team do better at celadon I've done some investigating myself seems since there's no brokers to deal with all drop and hook doing percentage and celadon has customers like ups, Fed ex which average linehaul is around 2.00 per mile. And eagles office has been very unorginized the past few weeks with new dms like we've had 4 new dms in 3 weeks time phones always sayin we have you calling from ...........leave a message and I've had several of my messsages not returned but me being lucky enough to have a few higher ups cell numbers to make things happen and with no brokers open or booking on weekends if a team finds no load Friday your sitting for the weekend to find one Monday hopefully picking up Monday and delivering before Tuesday night cut off at 2300 or it goes on next week's pay and that weeks a washout with just breaking even with fuel and fixed cost as a team just the truck payment is 892 a week plus trailer and eagles add on Qualcomm etc provided teams have 1.00 buyout with no balloon payment except like 30k on trailer yes owning my truck is our plan but working week after week and not making a profit is not in my plan either. We've been out 5 weeks no paycheck and still stand by eagle but there needs to be a solution other than hearing team freight is hard to find consistently. And now I find out that if you have a red or white lone star eagle will not sign off to let you take it to another authorized quality carrier but they will a black lone star? Now I started in March and we were not allowed black lonestars they were for celadon only to hear they changed the rules now you can.... Go figure right.Drivers join ooida for the 45.00 they have plenty of insite you may or may not want to hear as they offer business and carrier consulting free to members talked with them for over a hour today during my 30 min break which went over 30min....lol

I average 5.5 mpg in my lone star at 60-65 mph when heavy light loads might get 6.2 mpg it's a fuel hog for sure

yeah unfortunately one bad week will put you in a hole speaking from experience you have to gross at least 4k per week after the 25% extorsion to see a paycheck worth being out here

Heck one bad week I running a team and we haven't seen a paycheck in over a month trust me I've complained our very first dm was the man he always found us good paying freight with adjusted delivery times or 24 hour receivers now that he's in another position we make no money
