Sounds like some pieces are missing to this puzzle. But anyway, I'll help you out.
Call DAC services and inform them of the "possible recording". Now, this will not be easy. You'll also have to send them a certified return recipe letter as well on the "possible recording". You'll need their carrier ID number, date, time and physical location "their terminal" where you dropped the trailer or parked the truck/trailer. Hopefully you parked it behind their fence and turned over the BOLs. If so they are trying to scare and bully you. That's not a abandoned load. If you did not give them the BOL it is a abandoned load.
As a rule always have proof when dealing with people like this.
I'm not a attorney but i've done this before to help family members when Arrow Trucking went bust. Companies tell drivers this as scare tactics to keep you there. Sometimes they try to put it against you dac but if you follow the guidelines I said DAC will kick it back to the carrier if they try. Works like removing incorrect fillings off your credit report.
    Good luck.

Ya, the loads at the terminal, its not abandoned...I told you its here, Ive delivered to you...
If some company wants to rip you over this DAC, make sure they see the date range, tell em the story..If they dont want you solely based on the report coming up, well its probably a messed up company you dont want to be with anyways, right?

I think if you got it to the terminal and then left for your time at home that was scedualed 6 weeks in advance that's not load abandonment.

If they ding your dac you should look into a lawsuit but I'll bet you don't have anything in writing, on the other hand nor do they.

This is a situation where it's nice to have cousins who ride Harleys and will beat the #### out of people for you . If I dropped a load at the terminal and some ### was threatening to mess with my record I would resort to old school tactics.

My neighbor is really into riding his Harley. He's a dentist. He won't beat anyone's ### but he'll give them a discount on a good cleaning.

If you quit we're gonna ding your DAC with a load abandonment ?
.Really? Just to be vindictive?..Well if thats the case you should of just agreed to take the load and just go home with it and then call them up and thank them for the ride home, and tell them your truck is down the street come get it yourself..

Enough with childish BS, you must be watching too many 80-s movies. Nowadays all you can do is have enough money for a good lawyer
