OTR average pay scale sucks for most company drivers compared to what you are accustomed to.
.40 cents per mile with no guarantee of mileage seems to be average. Good luck in your search.

I have 13 months experience with a roll over 19 months ago and I'm making 40 cpm with no accessory pay. I wouldn't do it for any less even with my record but it was hard to find. I hear that the best pay for flatbed is percentage. 26 to 27 percent from what I hear is the norm.

Percentage means nothing unless you know what the truck is making

Tanker OTR .48 to .60 is the general scale. You're experienced so probably .50+ pulling chemical tank. Tanker is all I know or care. If you are serious about running hard OTR and have some tank experience give me a PM and I'll see if you can't hit that .60 mark.

I can make 60k just in davis bacon wages, unemployment is about 500 every 2 weeks, and pfd check varies from year to year based on the oil revenues generated from the previous 5yrs. I recently became a felon so finding work got difficult this summer, spent all winter In jail. It's what I needed tho drugs took over my life. But I'm turning over a new leaf.
