Lets see, when I get paid tomorrow I should clear close to $4000 for last week after all expenses including my $1100 in fixed costs.
As of this week just doing short loads in the Northeast booked through 3.5 days I'm looking around 950 all miles and $2,916 to the truck.

Magical things can happen when you're not paid by mileage or having a company trying to shove cheap freight down your throat all the time!

 

I tried to get with schneider lease but they told me more drivers where qualified than me and I worked there for 8 months as a company driverer.

 

I don't want to say over an open forum...he's my 3rd one....and I only get him sometimes coz another guy...my 4 th splits time with him or something.....

 

The general rules are you must have strictly OTR experience and 6 months with them as OTR or 1 year + from outside experience.
My numbers aren't easy btw, there's lots of cheap freight here too (but nobody is forcing you to take) and tons to learn to get the most out of the system.

 

Dry van and im in hobbs nm....so I was looking mostly to interstate loads in Texas ....and a few outside the state had a 2.4 a mile load muleshoe to Salt Lake City ut but our broker would only pay 1500 .....maybe I should have taken it but? Wth do I know ...it just seemed like a ripoff again...my minimum was 1700 on 850 but 1500-25%
