I always liked the very back seat of the station wagon. It faced backwards so I could see where we had been, and make faces at the people behind me. Lol

When you are short you learn to be an exceptionally skillful climber.:biggrin_255:
I still climb up on the kitchen counters to reach something on the top cabinet shelf :biggrin_255:

Nope...not a boat person so no top bunk for me. I don't know....are there the same number of idiots on the sea as there are on our highways? That is where the concern would be. Just going 25 miles into Springfield I will see half a dozen idiots pull out in front of someone or cut them off on the interstate......or pass someone while in a no passing zone.....going up a hill.....and around a curve.:biggrin_25521:
That is the reason Number One Daughter has no desire to get her license. She will drive around the property anytime......but thinks the people on the highway are crazy.

:biggrin_2559: I wasn't worried about you and Pete....on the water or on land. But ya gotta admit there seems to be an overabundance of folks out there driving cars now that really shouldn't even be allowed to pull a little red wagon down the sidewalk.:biggrin_2552:

Congrats, dano86, and best of luck! TransAm isn't a bad choice....we have all been there.....just keep your expectations real and you will do fine. We will help you all that we can along the way. Have you taken a look at our little blog? It hasn't been updated in awhile but it does have some good information on there. There is a search box in the top left-hand corner....just type in Orientation for starters. Then we have a section called Drivers Tips.

In the Navy the middle bunk was best. I would never want to try commercial fishing. I think the flight deck of the carrier was dangerous enough for me.

Wrong. Top rack was the best. It's the only one you can sit up in. ,,, sideways because of a foot tall I beam, but at least you could sit up !
