After looking at pics online, I, pretty sure what I saw was a new Freightliner Argosy. According to the Freightliner website, they are only available as gliders in the US.

Not much different than any other truck of the same vintage. One big drawback is any lame brain DOT man knows it's probably mid 80's. A lot of the newer gestapo wouldn't know the difference between a 359 and a bran new Pete if they both look the same paint wise. Probably get pulled around back more often. Shift r linkages will usually be sloppy by now, and like to bind up in the cold. Same with throttle. Every cabover Pete I drove, when you going over rough ground she likes to ether take off or idle when the cab flexes. Wiring and air lines can be a pain to work on bundled up at the hinge point. Nothing worse than forgetting your coffee or lunch on the doghouse and jacking your house up.

Back in the cab over days, everything and anything broke windshields when guys forgot to remove them, before jacking the cabs up.I've seen thermoses, TV's,guns, etc. bust windshields when they come rolling out of the bunk. Also, when you're jacking the cab up on a truck that the cab can go over center on,you better be pretty quick on the lever on the hydraulic pump.Once it goes over center, you have to flip the hydraulic lever the other direction, and start jacking furiously,so the top of the cab doesn't smash on the ground.Or you could get a cabover like a 7400 White (Jap Freightliner),with a manual spring assist lift cab.And get 6 guys to help you lift it,ugh.
