I have been looking at the RM options but I found out my MC uses PC Miler and there is a Sync option for them to send their route info from PC Miler to the truck version of CoPilot... I thought that would be a great feature during dispatch... And, if it's based on the same program that they are using, it should route me the same way even without the sync option... And although I was seriously looking at RM Tablet option at $500 ... I am very happy in the Apple Ecosystem and really didn't want another tablet since I had an iPad... And iPhone... And now that I am looking at the CoPilot option it might be nice to have the same app on both vs a stand alone third device of the RM Tablet separate from the other two.
I just wonder if I can route on my iPhone (during dinner, etc) and then send it to my iPad for actual drive time.
Either way, looking forward to using the $10 car option until I fill in the blanks and verify some info with the company and hope the CoPilot Truck version goes on sale in October like it has the last two years.

As to the issue of mileage by state... Sorry you are experiencing that issue after the last update... I hope it gets resolved soon or in the next update... I am lucky in that area as the company does all that tracking... Whew

The mileage has never worked right.
I don't know how it's computed. And I haven't tried it in 2 years..I wonder if copilot is even aware of the problem. -

you can only use the copilot on one device at a time as far as i know. last i checked you had to deactivate it on one device before using on another unless you purchase a copy for each device.

Thinking Apple requires Apps to work on up to 5 devices to be listed in the App Store... But I could be wrong about that... I don't recall seeing the hardware listed or registered either. But I guess I will find out when I switch iPads tomorrow.
-
And if there is a limitation of one unit at a time, I will keep the Car version on my iPhone(s) and load the Truck version on the iPad... but still thinking there are more than one install per App.

I have 6 devices now running copilot, 4 tablets and 2 phones

Good to know one can install the App on multiple devices... Makes for better usability vs a stand alone unitasker device sitting on ones dash.
