I dont,it was a sarcastic response to Jerezxp7.It would be rather disturbing to think someone would think it is OK to walk around and just hit people, dont you think?

Sometimes when drivers have to take 34 hours off they go kinda crazy and they get satisfaction from coming in here and poking other drivers forgive me the last fight I was in I was 20 years younger and 40 pounds lighter I think fighting is stupid. And when I do see a couple truck drivers go at it it turns into two fat guys rolling around on the ground hugging each other.

That being said if someone unjustly hurt my livelihood and I had no recourse I would by my time and eventually beat that person to the ground and I would do it without getting caught.

Abandoning a load is something that I qualify as "very bad". Remarque though .... We live in the USA and we are not slaves! 24 hours at a terminal with probably no food goes with the labor department I guess..... but that puts hardship on you until they solve your case....

Now .... abandoning load is like you left it in a field .... did you leave the load in a yard or at the company? Also was it life stock or scrap paper? was it reefer or it could have stayed there for ages?

I am sad to hear that young drivers stil take this kind of #### when they NEED to go home1

He left it at the company terminal if he had left it anywhere else I would have called him an idiot and had no comment but at the yard you are free to say here is your truck your load and your keys I no longer work here. That being said a driver crying about home time is not going to be a truck driver a few years from now he will fail.

Now I realize that there's two sides to every story, but, just my 2 cents.... Back in the day if I got lied too, I would leave too.........Now, being older and hopefully a little wiser, I realize there's more at stake than just a lying dispatcher, who doesn't give rats ### about my well being.....More importantly, the load needs to be delivered, bottom line....So, I would deliver the load, voice my displeasure & rip the dispatcher a new one. Then I would seriously start looking for a new job.....FWIW, Clausland.........

That reminds me of that time I got in a disagreement with a bouncer at a bar. I felt bad for the fellow after it was all said and done, him having to go to the doctor and deal with that broke hand for a few weeks. I only had to deal with the hangover and a sore jaw for a day or so.

    jerezxp7 Thanks this.

Yeah .... imagine the delivery was like 20 miles from terminal..... I worked for a company in Canada that fired me 3 times when I wanted to go home and brought the truck to the yard. (and they hired me again after my time home)

You know as well as i do that they do not use us... they abuse us! The driver is not an idiot ... he just does not have experience....but I think he understood the fact that when you show your CDL you are not a person any more but a slave.... and JB, Schneider, TQL, or any other big company that moves freight can consider you a slave!
