4000 isn't the usual. Although companies will cram as many miles on new/lower paid drivers as possible.

    If I run a 4K week. I'm ready for a break/reset. Of course, I ain't a spring chicken anymore either.

Why don't you just run 10 hours a day. you can log it anyway you want to. It's not like they are going to complain.

believe it or not. i do, occasionally i have "bent" the rules.
if you show dispatch you are willing to run illegal once, they will push you harder, thinking you will always do it.
me, i've read too many stories about what can happen when a dummy in a 4-wheeler kills themself on your truck!!
their fault or not, if the courts match your q-comm records against your logs and they don't match...... you'll be rooming with "bubba the butt-plugger for a LOOOOONG time!!!:biggrin_25513:

yes I subtracted the fueling and PTI from the next days hours. gotta keep it legal...I looked to see if I could sit, and do a 34 hour reset, but it would not work with on time delivery, because of when I ended on Friday night. I could not have fit an 8 or 10 hour break in, and make the appointment.

o well...this weekend is better. Plenty of time to get to chicago for a 8am delivery
