Comdata card

OK I see. Hopefully I wont have any problems with the direct deposit.

 

When I was with a company that sent everything through comdata, I would do the direct deposit every friday and it would show up in my bank account saturday as long as I made the transfer before 2pm est. Then once I get it into my bank account I transfer my money to my other accounts from my bank account. Not sure which bank you use, but I bank at the majors and have no problem transfering between any of them.

 

You don't have to get money from Comdata, but.....

I have a set minimal amount ($100) from my check put on my card each week. I can access that cash with a comcheck anytime I fuel, with no service charges. A lot of guys set the amount as to what the want to "live on" while on road.

Majority of my check is direct deposited to my checking. Problem is, if I would need to access cash through that, I would have ATM service fees. Sometimes rather high out here. Those fees can add up significantly over the year.

Why pay that if I can access for free off Comdata card when I fuel? If I don't access that money, it just accumulates on card & at some point I just transfer it to my bank.
