Everyone wants a Loan Star or W900,but they have 680's,cascadias,t660's,
pro stars,pete 579's,and Ive heard,volvo's are coming in next.
You need to do the work,and call around,and find the truck you want.
Probably 200 guys a week are lining uo to lease.Some give up and go home,others get the W900,with some work,on their part.

 

You're better off finding a truck at a different terminal I had to go to Knoxville to get mine Indy is a madhouse

 

Exactly.The guys determined to make it work,find a way,to get it done.They have thousands of trucks.You need to show a good attitude and persistance.If you go there with an attitude..you will be on the black list,at the end of the line,and wont even know it.Being respectfull will get you much further.

 

If you have the Schneider and landstar boards plus brokers why are you sitting waiting for loads?

If your the type to sit and wait for loads to be handed to you by a dispatcher, and there is nothing wrong with that, you shouldn't lease. Company is where you need to be.

 

Is that true? You can pull from the ls loadboard?

 

LS boards yes Schneider no we'er not set up with schneider

 

The ls board is solid, rates look decent... Am I missing something??

 

Beware of all the xtra charges with Eagle, not only you have the truck and insurance from quality, but then you have a trailer payment and trailer insurance plus additional insurance thru Eagle, even tho qualities insurance covers all that crap Eagle is charging for.

Oh wait it gets better if you find a company that pays better ish, and they accept quality as there lease place, you can't switch over and take the truck without being with Eagle for 90days, and gets better because that just came in place recently by quality and that is a hidden agreement with quality and there carriers, that they don't even disclose with the drivers, isn't that nice.

 

I don't work for eagle/quality and I knew about the 90 day thing. If you do not do your research you deserve to fail.
