Walmart stop 2, in and out.. Of course this happened with a 4am appointment.. There goes the ideal that I would get a 4 or 5 hour nap.. Lol / parked in town, not to far from home but need to figure out what is up next, don't want to drive that way if I can get a load that way..

Seems like the weather is getting cooler can wait, the back of my truck smells like an old fat truck driver.. Strange?? Lol

Hey, itaff hope all is well... I have been following your thread for the most part. We talked a couple of months ago when I was going to come to bruenger. Just wanted to know since you got the new truck. Has your recent settlements went up? Can you average $1600 a week?

    itaff Thanks this.

Hay that last 4 weeks also remember I went home for 5 days... So there was more that could of been made...

The rate out to Washington really kinda of sucked.. It paid about $32 total and I grabbed onions for about $34 back..

But I also have to remember that fuel is down so what use to be $1.80 is now $1.60, or what was $2.00 is now $1.80.. But we are still making the same because it's just inflation..

I will pick up a load here in WI tomorrow that will pay 1.90 headed to KC Mo tomorrow and then grab another St. Joe back up..

I spoke to Danny and I'm going to try a rout back and forth if it works for a little while.. If it does work I should be able to be home a few weekends to see the boys play football..

My buddy said he sat out in AZ for 2 days, sounds like he is having a hard time finding a load back.. I think produce is drying up in California.. This drought is something else... Learn the lanes and know the brokers for them lanes, I would call out and secure a back haul before I agree to any loads out right now..

Well 80 mile run south and p/u in the a.m. then south.. Be safe, keep the questions and advice coming guys, I love to learn what I can...

First negative settlement.. I was -$25.00!!
Of course I kind of knew this was going to happen because I took that Washinton load and it just sucks up too much of the week.. If there was a way to get a second load on with that it would be much more prosperous. That and the pay cycle ends on Saturday so all the fuel are used coming back down to Missouri went on that cycle. I knew this was going to happen on my way to Washington.. Now lesson learned manage where I go better..
I pulled into the house last night, and will be here until Saturday night or Sunday morning. Pick up a load back up to Wisconsin.. Chins up happy faces!!
