Depends on where the map makers drop the X's. Best I can tell, they probably guess it by spotting signs on Google street view, and not always getting them right.

Garmin only recently fixed a feature coming north into ATL via I-75 to I-285 WB. (If you didn't know better) it would route you off at Forest Pkwy & around the farmers market since the direct ramp was "inside" the truck restriction. Another one that was still not right a few months ago is PA-228 east from Cranberry Twp. That one is even posted ok, just not obvious. Big letters on top say 32T, then down in the small type "comb veh 40T" or the like.

Speaking of trucks on restricted roads, the other day at home I saw an FFE truck driving up Lomaland Ave next to my apartment. Lomaland is restricted to 26' long trucks where it passes my apartment. He passed the last "truck route" which was Vista Del Sol.

My guess is he was headed to the Coca-Cola plant and took the wrong street. Many drivers get off at the Lomaland Exit because they see the Coke plant and try to access the plant on Lomaland, which while the plant property butts up against Lomaland between the Studio 6 and Ryder trucks, the truck entrance is actually on Barranca Dr. which is the next right from Gateway West (frontage road)

He should have turned onto Pellicano, which also intersects Barranca Dr.
