What kind of accidents were these? I would think 3 accidents would cause license suspension & maybe a required safety class. Did you try Western Express?

I do not understand how they expect you to not run over things now and then. Heck, you have to talk trash on the CB, send text message, answer qualcom and play with yourself. They should just be glad you did not run over something everyday. I would think there is some company out there that would understand.

3 preventables in a 7 month period in this biz is entirely too many.I only had one and been driving semi since 2002 so believe it or not it can be done.Sounds like the op is blaming training for his misfortune. They do not teach the trainees everything, some things they need to think for themselves.

I only got the preventable with Schneider one was for hitting a tree limbs, the second was a rip airline and the last a little fender bender at the truck stop .when they train me it was 2 to a truck and I clearly told them after training I was not ready to go out on my own and they sent me to ####in New York, Massachusetts my first week!!! I'm not blaming anybody I could drove off on the last accident and I own up to all of them.. I even took and delivered the last load only to be called in and say I was fired. I would been better off to abandon the truck like my friend did and send a letter and he still got other trucking jobs..

What you should have done if you wasn't ready to go solo is quit.I was in the same predicament with a starter company. But after raising a big enough stink about it they let me still get trained for another 2 weeks. Those might be little fender benders as you see it but motor carriers see a much bigger picture because those fender benders add up with all the drivers they have that do the same thing daily.Unfortunately you're learning the heard way trucking is an unforgiving profession.

I feel like I trained myself because the school I went to was ####....but I passed my test and got my license and 19 years later I have no preventables on my record .....so im just saying its up to you to help yourself....go to a small local company, work it off for a bit before trying to head out with the big companies...jmho..

The megas won't hire you because of their policy and those preventables are back to back.I would suggest like others have is find a small carrier of 20 or less drivers that don't use dac.You would have to look in your area .Anyone who has a big ad or website you can bet they use dac services. Then you'll need to keep your record completely clean for at least a yr.But after your first post I would say you need another dose of training.
