That sounds right. I only got a one year this time around. My last 2 med cards were 2 years. I think they changed the regulations on pacemakers in the past year to were you only get a 1 year card. That's OK, it's not different then when I had to get a medical every year to keep my pilots license active. I honestly believe it should be a one year med card for trucking anyways. A lot of these drivers really should be looked at every year.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

How long are you able to get your med card issued for after a Pacemaker?
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
If you read the posts, he went to the doctor for the heart Aug 16 2015 and got approved, but unable to get his DOT card until after Sept 5th which is a time of healing I would suppose.
Pacemakers are not a problem when everything is in line with it. If not, it will keep records of events where it had to fire at the heart to knock it back into proper timing.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
