are you working direct for Ceva or one of the many fleets that pull for them?
-
If they're thieves, then call the police, that's pretty simple.
Next?Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
$13 an hour? and no OT?
... Would probably be a good clue not to waste your time filling the application out
Any driver that drives a semi for that kind of wage deserves the little pay checks they will receive
... I just hope there are no kids or wives counting such dummies to support them -
The lack of OT should be a surprise to no one here.
Anyone employed by for-hire motor carriers is exempt from federal overtime provisions. So if you're in a state that does not have its' own law that goes above and beyond federal law, you're SOL. -

Was working for Ceva pulling Walmart freight in Pageland SC. The job was a pie job but dispatch is horrible. New hires are expected to take mileage runs that actually pays less than if you had driven 225 miles or less with three stops. All decent freight goes to their closest associates. While allows them to pull 2 to 3 loads aday as you're scraping for crumbs trying to make ends meet. Dispatch will be the reason this company goes to HELL. They have an extremely high turn over for as drivers because of dispatch. Without drivers WALMART will have no purpose for CEVA. The place is highly unorganised and falling apart.
