I have tried Roehl, Scneider, USa, US Express, Cr England, ABF, Swift, CRST, CeLadon, Maverick, Earl Henderson trucking,, etc,, seems as tho only the worst four will take people from my area.

Yes I do not think that I would be fond of being watched all the time. I am just looking for some where to get the training and experience and be able to move on to better companies. I

See I would make it into a game. Like force it into record mode then do a strip tease then send them a bill for the show.

I did look into Conway, I just am not sure about the double trailers, it is kind of nerve racking enough for me. Lol

I researched and found that Prime Inc was the cheapest option for me. They will take you and your husband even if you dont have a cdl, it will cost you only the price of paying for fees to take the knowledge tests. They will help you obtain your permit and then put you with a driver trainer to train you in the truck for the driving test. it will take at least a month and they give you 3 tries to pass skills and pre trip. after that you will become an employee and spend at least 3 months with a trainer on their truck until they put you in your own truck. It worked for me and you are guaranteed a certain amount of pay while training. Trucks are slow but freight is good and you can be an independant contractor if that interests you and your husband. You can choose between tanker, reefer, or my personal preference flatbed. Good luck!

Conway Truckload doesn't have Doubles. That is their sister company Conway Freight.

Lol well that could be entertaining. But I am really stressing out. I was recently on the road for a week learning about trucking with a friend. And all of the truckers that I met were very nice. And of course had different opininions about the companies that they work for as you would expect.
