If you have an ISX, don't waste your time. I can't comment on those Cats and Detroits.

I am skeptical since it doesn't have a motor it would be an obstruction in the fuel flow is my thinking. Double that with the Raptor but then you might as well get the full size AirDog Fuel Preporator.

I've been thinking about putting one on my old mechanical Cat but I too am somewhat skeptical since it's worked fine without it for the last 35 years.

I was told years ago that the improvement is much more noticeable with the mechanical engine than today's high pressure injector systems.

Yeah, the high pressure fuel rail knocks most if not all of the air out of the fuel system. I know the ISX has the high pressure fuel rail, but I'm not sure about the cats and Detroits.

Not true, they just compress it into micro bubbles at 30,000 psi that cause allot more damage..(HPCR)(common rail)

Fluid dynamics wouldn't allow that. And I'm pretty sure the psi is around 300.

It's all smoke and mirrors....get the air out of the suction side of the fuel system and none of these gimmicks are needed. All they do is compress the existing air bubbles to make them smaller and allow more fuel into the injector. No air, no bubbles, no problems.

Thank you all for your comments, I have been curious about this filter system but again always thought it was another restriction in the fuel, but I'm open minded for good products, that's why I ask.
