Put the truck in the shop yesterday, 880K miles, doing King Pins, clutch and rear sleeper heater core. Question, should I have the shocks changed while they do the king pins?, seems like I'm already paying for most of the labor anyway, do it as preventive measure?????

I know at my shop I would throw them on for you at no charge if you brought them to me, considering all of that other work that is being done. Monroe part #65139 for the shocks. Napa. Good luck.

Went to the shop today, tranny was out (it's ok, thank GOD!), the clutch is gone, but the shaft, and gears seem ok. Haven't got to the king pins yet, getting Kaiser pins put on.

Yes, I mentioned it and they said they do it as a matter of fact.

I like them, their my company shop, they charge $75 hr., actual time, and don't double charge for labor. They own their mistakes (earlier this year they dropped my radiator while changing the base plate, put in a new one and apologized!!!!).
