We recently purchaced a older model truck, when we get all of our DMV, DOT, Insurance, LLC and such into place, then we will be looking to hire a driver. The advice I need is what is the best way to pay our driver, we want to be fair to our driver , is paying the driver a % of what we make on each load and is that determind after the over head is taken out, or is it better to pay the driver by milage and if so what is the going rate on milage. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated

preference: 1), Flat Rate each month/week. (nice) 2), Cents per mile. 3), Percentage based.
