Hmm... this brings up quite a few questions...
One of them being, are the signs clearly and VISIBLY posted?
Actually him trying to stop them is a good thing.. how many lives has this man saved? -
Its most likely posted no trucks after you make the turn. I always wondered why they did that. The no truck sign is almost a half a block down the road, then your stuck ! Cant back up, must move foward. If the road is marked no trucks, then on the main street it should have no trucks make left/right or whatever.

the story even said that the sign is posted wwwwaaaaayyyyyyy past the point of no return "By the time trucks reach the hill in Glen Rock, it's too late, Boddington said. The drivers don't have anywhere to turn around. They either go down the hill or back the whole way to the Trail." they also sight that its most like caused from drivers getting directions from online mapping sights but i cant count the number of times ive called a receiver to get directions and they had me come in on restricted roads i even had one try to bring me in under a 13 2 railroad bridge and as for trying to stop a truck coming down a hill by suddenly pulling your pickup out into the middle of the road well that there will earn you a nomination for a Darwin award
