Might help folks if you let them know where you are or where you are willing to travel to. I could pop off a school and say it's the best in the world but it wouldn't do you much good if it were in China. Would it?

Best trucking school is with the large trucking companies that have their own schools.

...or a community/junior college

I went to truck school at community college, Mid Florida Tech in Orlando, Fl Great school but it was long. About 6 or 8 weeks long. After the 3rd week I was like ,"shoot me, please".

Go to Trucking Schools and look for posts of schools in your area or ask there. It is the sub-form specific for questions about trucking schools. As RustyBolt said be sure to give your location when asking.
Not sure if Jayrag was joking with you are not but generally a trucking company's school is usually the worst choice as they normally will try and obligate you to say with them for a year or a certain amount of miles and often do not have the best of training. A good community collage school is usually the best choice followed by a quality private school. Most company's will offer reimbursement for your schooling costs up to a point for an approved school so see what schools the company you are thinking of going with will pay for and then ask for reviews of them. -
Alot of companies require at least 240 hours of school now. And that's what Cleves give you. And soooooo much cheaper than a CDL mill. I'm currently in an 8 week course for less than a thousand bucks. And only 6 people in the class. Tons of driving time.Newgirl89 Thanks this.
