No sir the cruise does not work nor the high idle...I have cleaned all the fuses and breakers and switched breakers around to see if I could get any change with no luck. I know there is a relay on the firewall but not sure what its to will have to check that

BRAIN FART!!! check your brake pedal see if it is coming all the way up when you take your foot off. mine did that a few weeks back from all the dirt and crud that got in the pin hinge. pull the pin and take pedal off and pull rubber boot off brake plunger and clean and never seize the plunger sleeve. that will affect your cruise and high idle, jake not so much but maybe it is tied together somehow.
Kurt schaneman Thanks this. -
Ok I did notice that I can pull the brake
Aaahaaaa there could be the kicker...because I know the plunger is not coming all the way up so I will defiantly take it apart in the am and clean it...I ho -
good luck! hope that is it! I went to set my high idle a while back and it wouldn't set. im thinking great now what! was walking back into my shop and I noticed my brake lights blinkin off when I got to the rear. then it clicked in my ity bity brain!Kurt schaneman Thanks this.

Well its not my brake pedal I just took it apart and it looks like its working properly as far as I can see anyway..well I guess I took the pedal and the boot off and its clean and the plunger seems to be working....any other ideas?

Well I think I figured out a little more I found where one of the wires from the clutch switch to the ecm and I have no resistance in that one...but I can't figure out where my other wire from the clutch switch goes...I'm assuming it has to go to the ecm somewhere else but I can't find where it goes?

I HATE electrical problems!

Ha-ha I'm totally with you...I am happy to announce though that I figured it out today and its fixed...just like we thought...where the wiring harness comes from under the cab and hooks into the bottom of the ecm it loops back around and rests against the dipstick...there were three wires rubbed completely through there and low and behold one of them was for the clutch switch so I fixed them and we are back in business...thank you all again for your help
