    Anyone know what the code for transmission MID 130 PSID 27 FYI 8 means.
    It comes up occasionally especially when I am maneuvering back and forth .
    By the time I get into screen to check it, it is already inactive.
    Says " mechanical or electrical fault ".
    The transmission wiring harness was replaced 2 years ago along with the transmission sensor.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I knew the quick connect fitting has a slow air leak. Finally found it after god only knows how many people looked for it, but didn't realize I would get a code for that.
    Only Volvo

    I found that connector yesterday and there is a small air leak and I have the same code for the transmission as you did. Really hard to get there to fix it, will try to do that today

    How did you fix it? I'm thinking to unscrew driveshaft to get an access there. What 'PITA' means?

    PITA = pain in the arse.

    It's an L shaped quick connect on top of tranny, pop off air line take off quick connect screw new one in reconnect air line.
