yes down hill for sure, they got rid of all the good driver managers now they have pushers, and no care in the world about people and life in general. so I am going independent I have a war hero to take care of at home and on my 34 I should be able to take a plane or whatever to take care of emergencies, right? life happens and FFE lost the human touch along with load wait time and no pay while you wait as much as two days if not more. and always over weight and still want you to take the load, or it takes a day to arrange the load, just it seems like rookies have taken over. oh and I want to buy out the truck I'm leasing thru them no return phone call its been what a month now.

FFE had plenty of issues, zero accountability to bad drivers and driver managers who didn't care. The maintenance issues at FFE were out of control. I don't regret leaving at all, I hope that KLLM can straighten out all the bull.

FFE was in the toilet long before the KLLM deal. It all started when they opened the school. Went from being zero debt company to having to sell the American Eagle division to Celadon and let Celadon cherry pick drivers. They also let go their most experienced DMs. All of that went down years before KLLM saved them.

When I first started driving it was with Lisa/MTC. They were a sub of FFE out of FT Worth. Great Western express was there also. I stayed with Lisa for 3 years and enjoyed it. That was back in the mid to late 90's. Now from what I understand all the sub companies (Lisa/MTC,GW,American Eagle) are all gone and the FT Worth yard is now closed. I have yet to run into a happy FFE driver.

The FT Worth yard (the old Lisa complex) is what they turned into their school back around 2011 or so.

If any FFE drivers stayed during the transition, let us know if you like it
