My company just got a new 2016 freight liner and once you dis-engage the airbrakes, the read out on the dash say, PARK BRAKE NOT SET....and the interior dome light stays on....anybody care to take a crack at this?

    Thanks

Does the dome light stay on even with the brakes set???

You check the resistance in the door jamb switch while pushing it in and out that will tell you.

Somebody could have slammed the door really hard and damaged the plastic slide to shut the switch properly.

Had a truck where the only way to get the dome light to turn off was double handed door slammed that rocked the cab....then get out the passenger side so the battery isn't dead next time you try to start it
